The longest individual event on the international calendar — roughly two hours in open water, racing the field and the conditions as much as the clock. Fifth at the 2026 Pan Pacific Championships in Long Beach, on Australian Dolphins debut.
Thirty lengths of a long-course pool. A contest of pacing discipline and aerobic strength. Making its Commonwealth Games debut for women in 2026.
Sixteen lengths. Faster and more brutal than the 1500m, with less room for error in the pacing.
Fifth in the 10km open water in a field of 23, on Australian Dolphins debut. Across the Championships: five freestyle distances in the pool, a relay leg, and the 10km — the only swimmer at the meet to race that range.
