    Fifth in the 10km open water on Australian Dolphins debut

    Jacqueline Davison-McGovern finished fifth in a field of 23 in the 10km open water at the 2026 Pan Pacific Championships in Long Beach, clocking 1:56:17 in her first race for the Australian Dolphins. Teammate Moesha Johnson took gold. Across the Championships she contested five freestyle distances in the pool — 100m through 1500m — plus the 4×200m freestyle relay and the 10km, the only swimmer at the meet to race that range.

    Selected for the 2026 Pan Pacific Championships pool team

    Following the Australian Swimming Trials in Sydney, Jacqueline Davison-McGovern has been named to the 2026 Pan Pacific Championships pool team for the 800m and 1500m freestyle — confirming her as a double Dolphin across pool and open water at her debut Championships, as Dolphin No. 879.
