One of a small group of Australian swimmers racing seriously across both pool distance and open water. The disciplines reward different things — the precision of a 50-metre pool and the unpredictability of ocean lanes — and the contrast is the reason I race both.
The next start sits in California in August. The line that gets there ran through Sydney in June — selection secured.
Pan Pacs in 2026 is one stage of a longer campaign. The destination is Brisbane 2032 — racing at a home Olympics, in the city that built me.
