Open water mass start, aerial view — Pan Pacific Championships campaign
AUSTRALIAN DOLPHINS

Jacqueline Davison-McGovern

Distance swimmer. Equally at home in 50-metre lanes and open water.

Selected to represent Australia in the 800m, 1500m freestyle and 10km open water at the 2026 Pan Pacific Championships, California.

Introduction No. 01

One of a small group of Australian swimmers racing seriously across both pool distance and open water. The disciplines reward different things — the precision of a 50-metre pool and the unpredictability of ocean lanes — and the contrast is the reason I race both.

2026 Pan Pacs No. 02

Three events. Two disciplines. One campaign.

The next start sits in California in August. The line that gets there ran through Sydney in June — selection secured.

The Long Game

Pan Pacs in 2026 is one stage of a longer campaign. The destination is Brisbane 2032 — racing at a home Olympics, in the city that built me.

Partnership

Partner with an athlete on the road to a home Olympics.

Seven years out from Brisbane 2032, the most valuable time to partner with an athlete is before the field crowds. Early partners build the story, not just buy the result.
